Now that I own a 69 SS. I want to replace the rims (non stock SS from a Chevelle) and tires (original Goodyear polyglas?) that the guy put on the car.
I'm thinking going from the stock 14x7's to 15x8's (original Chevrolet Camaro Ralleyes) with 225/60's (Goodrich radial TA's per your guys recommendations - I believe to acheive a small lettering similar to how the tire looked from the factory) all the way around. I like the look of having all the same on all fours. Would this look good? I want it to look a little more "beefy" the than ones on previously or stock from the factory, but yet retain the stock look. Is their a better combo? Is year one a good source? I'm not into the "PRo stock look (small in front, large on the rear) or the new 20's that you see on the rappers cars/ suv's.
Thanks
Steve -

I like evenly sized tires as well, meaning overall height is the same.

Look at jcdubs car (I just saw it and oddly I think I remember the tire size :clonk: ). I think it has 235/60/15 up front and 255/50/15 in the back. Nice size for the car. The 235/60/15 would like nice all around. 225-60-15 may look good too.

Cfunks' car. This one also has 235/60/15. I opened this link yesterday.
