If any of you guys sell parts out of TC classifieds or elsewhere be on the look out for forged Postal Money Orders. There was an article in today's paper describing high quality fakes. Until I saw the article I would have never questioned a Postal Money Order

Thanks for the heads up. Easy enough though to cash it before you send out the parts or whatever you are selling.

True, just make sure to cash it at the Post Office. If you put it in your bank account thinking it is good it comes back some time later, just like it was a bad check and you are stuck.

Just another reason to NOT except anything other than PAYPAL.
Thats the only way to do business on E-Bay.
At least when you get a Pay Pal payment you know its good. jmho

PayPal payments are not alway good. If someone makes payment and do not have enough in their PayPal account, you may find the money gone in about 30 days. I know someone that accepted a PayPal payment and it didn't clear. About 30 days later, Paypal took the money out of the friend's account. They were out the item that they sold and the money, while still using PayPal. Matbe PayPal policy has changed, but you should still check out who you're doing business with prior to the deal.

That's a good head up. I hadn't heard about this one yet.
The only 100% safe bet is US CASH and even then you need to be sure it's real. Crooks just don't care.
Paypal is safe for the most part. As long as the user is "verified" you are in good shape. You still have to watch out for stolen or fake credit cards. I had a guy try to pay me that way for an item. Paypal warned me not to send the item, and I didn't. A few days later it turned out to be a stolen card number and the guy was overseas.
