I am at the point to start putting my inside back together. The top of the dash was in rough shape. I sanded and ready for paint but what paint? Its dark green. Any help would be appreciated,

Don, If you are talking about the area that the speaker grill and defrost ducts are then it is a non relective flatish black wrinkled finish. Kinda like extreme orange peel black.

For '69s, the finish has a suede-type texture.

You can buy the paint from an Autobody shop. PPG Ditzler paint code black is 9317. For dark green, the code is 43993, "Midnight Green Poly". You can also get in other colors, depending on your interior color. It's pretty easy to spray, assuming your front windshield is out of the car.
