I have been waiting for a month for a new front to rear fuel line for my 67 .boy was I suprised to see my new line simply bent in half to fit in the box
is this normal,it is not kinked but mann if I wanted a bent up line I would have made it my self and had it a month ago!
Iam I being silly or do I have a leggitmit gripp?

They are all bent for shipping, no biggie. Since it is new metal it bends back easy. Can't do that on an old brittle line though.

there is nothing wrong with expecting quality from someone whenever you shell out money for something. who did you order the line from? this sounds like the same thing that happened to me with replacement chrome for my rocker panels on my 67. the person who packed the chrome decided that it might fit better if he put a 45 degree bend in it. i sent it back to classic industries with not too much hassle. oh yeah, they also sent me a bumper that looked like the ups truck had run over it...twice.

Think that's bad? I had ordered a set of wheel well trim that was shipped bent in half for shippng-it wasn't pretty. Needless to say, I called and complained and sent them back for some non-bent trim.

But for the fuel line, if it wasn't bent in half, you'd be paying truck freight because it would be too large for UPS to handle. I think if you are careful and take your time you can straighten it out without any problems. Good luck!

The line bend is normal practice. You can easily reshape it.

It usually says right in the catalog that it will be bent in half for shipping.

All the lines we get at the shop are bent in half...they bend right back with no problems.
