do a search on ebay for "rivets" they show up sometimes. but man they go high $$$ for my taste. AIM shows the flower down so you won't see them anyway. is that correct??

thought about using a small file to make my own out of some regular rivets.

search Hemmings for "trim tag rivets"... I have seen them there

My factory rivets in my car are upside down. I have seen many many cars like this. So just them in upsidedown. Or... buy stainless pop rivets and hand craft them with a small round file. Paying those prices for the rivets are nuts. Trimtags.com use to sell them. Or reuse you originals,if you didn't drill them, and use epoxy to hold them in.
