For the first time since I hurt my back (working on the car---lol) 2 1/2 weeks ago, I gotta full night's sleep (in the marital bed, not on the couch) woke up feeling good (not half crippled and running for the pain pills) and even got to enjoy some of the other benefits of the marital bed!

So here I am at work, still unmedicated and still feeling good, did my excercises and ready to face the world!

Special thanks to my chat buds for your concern and advice!

Think I'm gonna stop at the paint store today, just might shoot some color pretty soon!

D*mn it feels good not to hurt!
:waving: :D :beers:

I squashed a disc moving a press and was out for a month or so. After I got back moving again, I was real tight. The tightness was causing even more pain to just move. There was a ergonomics professional at work and he taught me how to stretch. That did the trick. If you can stretch your muscle and ligaments, you minimize the classic back pain (lower back) and muscle spasims (charlie horses).

Glad to here you are doing better. Did the wonder sauve from Dr. Buck do it?

Man, I feel your pain. I herniated a lower disc a few years ago. 4 cortisone shots later and PT, it got better. Exercises are key. Physical Therapy was very helpful in teaching me how to stretch and strengthen it. Ibuprofen is all I need now, from time to time.

Don’t stop exercising/stretching. I made that mistake and it set me back a bit, like 18 months later.
