I just purchased a unused set of Thorly 375y headers. They have some surface rust on them. What is the best way to clean them? Can I have them ceramic coated over the plating thats already on them? Any sujestions would be a big help
Thanks.

Youre best bet is going to be to blast them to get them clean. I'm not sure whats required for ceramic coating, but I would think bead rather than sand.

If youre going to have them ceramic coated, I would think it would have to be blasted to clean metal. I dont know of any plating or coating system that works well over anything but clean metal. Not a big deal. The people thats going to do the ceramic for you should be able to blast them as well. They'll know the best way to prep them.
