I have 2 69 Firebirds that are original that I am parting out. One had a white deluxe interior, the other had a green standard interior. I notice on the deluxe car, it has a thick rubber mat over 1/8" thick, not jute, glued over many areas in the floor that the standard interior does not have. Is this something extra the deluxe interiors got? I would assume this would be the same on the Camaro as well.

I don't know, but my 69 Z28RS with an unrestored deluxe interior has those rubber mats under the carpet you're talking about and no jute.
