My latest project is a 69 Camaro. The car has not been drove in several years. However, the previous owner says the car had less than 20k on the rebuilt engine he had done. Got it running this weekend, runs very good. The Muncie 4 speed I believe to be original. The shifter is very sloppy. I have never messed with a shifter. It looks like you can buy a shifter, then you also may need a shift rod kit. My shifter handle says Muncie on the side of it. I would like to get the car to where I can drive it before I start the restoration. What would be the best way to approach the tranney. New shifter, rods, fluid, all of the above. Any comments are welcome. Thanks

I believe you can still get Muncie shifter linkage.
