I thought grey phosphate. By the way, phosphating is easy. just need the chemicals and a low heat source--like a kitchen stove. However, speaking form experience, get it done before your wife gets home. Her comment, as she came in the kitchen door, "You know you're a redneck, if you cook bolts on the kitchen stove"
