i need some help with a 12 bolt i just got.
it was under a 68 camaro . it has mono spring perches and mono springs.. the #s on the tube are PU 0818C (or G ) but the casting date on the pumpkin is G58 ..
there is some weld slag a couple inches long on the middle of each tube ..
can someone shed some light on this ..

PU 0818C this is what I found.This type code was 1970 & earlier. 08 = Aug.,18 day of month,C=Buffalo/G=Detriot Gear&axel. I do not see a PU code in 67-69 Camaro. I only found it in Nova 8.5" 10 bolts, didn't look any further.

i found code PU for a 67 camaro 12 bolt and the mono spring perches would be right but the casting date is G58 which i think would be 1968..
any ideas..

I did miss the PU code in 67. Doesn't say in the info I have if its a 10 or 12, maybe I dismissed it ? All my info says is posi with metalic brakes.

i looked at the casting date again and the 8 maybe a 6 for 1966 would that be late enough in the year for a 67 camaro..
