I purchased a basket case of a camaro three weeks ago and was told it was an original RS car. Can anyone tell me how I can tell if this was a true RS Camaro? The front clip was missing off of the car... Thx.

Look for the backup lamp cutouts on the tail panel just below the bumper. If they appear to be stamped then you likely have a factory RS car. Other items to look for would be evidence of the headlight vacuum system- dash switch and 2 lines running to it through the firewall just below the brake master cylinder assembly.
