No. It does not look like an original. But, the picture angle could be a bit funky!
Original boosters had four round bosses (where Delco Moraine may have been stamped or a hole was cut for the check valve) located at 2, 4, 8, and the 10 o'clock position. I can't see any on your booster from this angle. So, I'm gonna stick with no. In the picture, there is a little tag which is sticking up into your cowl tag...if you look at the booster from behind...is there a number stamped on the tag?

so are you asking about a tag on the booster or on the cowl?

Unless Stryker sees something I don't, I think he mistook the flat part of the tack-welded wire loom holder that's to the driver side of the trim tag as a metal tag on the back of the booster.

I haven't seen many original 67 boosters, but the MC looks like a replacement (did they have DOT 3 fluid in 1967?).

Stryker is talking about the tab on the booster. Actually there should be 2 tabs. One at the 12oclock and one at the 6oclock I believe. Get those numbers then post them here. Then we can tell.

Where do you get the codes for the booster? I just picked up a used one that has the number 346 stamped on the engine side of the tab, and 9079 stamped on the firewall side of the tab. Any ideas if it's original?

Thanks,
Kevin

346 is mid December (Dec 12th) or the 346th day of the year, so the engine side is the date code.
Are you sure it's not 9078, which is a 1968 power brake booster.

Thanks for the reply Jonesy. It could be an 8, it's hard to tell. I'm going to believe that it's an 8 because my car was built in December 1967. The original motor has a date code of 12/19/67, so this lines up nicely. Man, I love ebay!
