Thought you guys might enjoy looking at some pics of some engine work I've been doing on my '68 convertible the past few days. Upgrades include: Powder coated aluminum intake, Tuff Stuff chrome water pump, chrome pulleys, chrome timing chain cover, Derale Flex fan, Powermaster chrome alternator, Summitt fuel pump, all new braided lines, new value covers, Proform balancer cover (which I love!), and some various other odds and ends. The work is not completed yet -still need to replace the master cylinder (almost there) and a few other things but I wanted to get some pics up and running to share with you guys. The first pic is a "before" pic prior to the new balancer cover, water pump and fuel pump.

Can't tell for sure, but I see you have a set of roller tip rockers, do you have guide plates installed? does not appear to be.

Looks great, Dan! I got that proform balancer cover too, and like it a lot.

To go along with it, I got a summit adjustable pointer. I had to do a lil grinding on the pointer bracket, it fits too close to clear the cover, but once done, it is an excellent setup.

mmcillece, where did you get the BB cross ram? Tell me about the setup with carbd, I like the way it looks.

Looks very nice. Is that clear powder coat on the intake or is it a silver color? I'd like to do something similar on mine. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did the powder coater charge? Thanks. -Neil
