Looks Legit to me...I have a repro and is a little too shiney than an orginal...real or fake...one thing for sure, this one is out of my price range. This one appears to be in real nice shape too...Mike

If somebody took a repro and rubbed it down slightly with 000 steel wool, I'm not sure how you could tell the difference. By the way, I installed a repro on my 69 a few years ago and that wheel is already showing some hairline cracks. Before I saw that, I would have assumed that a wheel with hairline cracks was probably an original. -Jeff

Appears to be a real one and yes they keep going up. I missed one that I wanted to buy a couple months ago and that one sold for just over 1800.00. A mint rosewod original will fetch that from any serious collector who needs a mint wheel for a high dollar car.
The repops suck as they are way off in color comparison and grain. A repop can be spotted from 20 feet away and they are very much prone to cracking even when they are not in use. I know a reseller of repop parts that put one in his glass showcase and 1 year after it sitting in there, he pulled it out to find it had cracked along all three spokes. Hows that for crappy?
