I just bought a 3.8 3800 V6 Series II along with wiring harness for my 93 Camaro. The new engine is from a 1996 camaro. My question is how am I going to adapt my 4L60 Transmission to fit this 4L60-E wiring harness? From what I have read, I dont need the ECM to controll this transmission of mine. Bottom line, Do I need to buy a 4L60-E transmission or can I convert the wiring harness to work with my old transmission.
