I replaced the 2bbl set up on my 327 with the Edelbrock performer intake and the 1405 carb. The kick down cable is now about 2 inches to short so I don't have it hooked up. I manually have to put it in 2nd if I want to pass. I have a th350. Do I need to get a longer cable or is there something I can do to make it fit on the linkage.

There are actually three different length TH350 kickdown cables. Just measure what you've got now and purchase the next size longer...available from most auto parts stores.
