I have a problem with with a sagging roof rail on my 1969 convertible. It sag's between the first and second roof rail. There is a adjuster on the second rail but that is for fine tuning, these things really sag! any ideas? The 69 body manual does not cover this adjustment.

If you mean what I think...Take the back seat out and the side panels. Where the top assembly bolts in you will see a slotted hole that the frame is attached to. Loosen and adjust the frame. Hard to explain but I had a convert that the top was sagged so much I couldn't close the door with the window up until I made that adjustment.

There are 2 adjustments there, you can move the main pivot to shift the entire top (not what you want to do) The second one is the little lever arm, this arm is what "flips" the sections as the top goes up, adjusting it's position will "straighten" the first and second rail position.
