A friend of mine bought a 67 the other day and asked me about the trim tag numbers. I know them on a 69, but I told him I knew someone that could help him. The numbers are:

67-12437 NOR 128235
717-Z E-E
W 28 3K

O5E = 1st week of May
67 = year model
-12437 = '1' - Chevrolet, '24' - Camaro V8, '37' - 2 door sport coupe body style
NOR = Norwood, Ohio final assembly plant
128235 = body sequence number
717 = Blue standard bucket seat interior
Z = custom seat appointments
E-E = Deepwater Blue paint lower/upper
W = Tinted Windshield
28 = 2nd option group, "8" is probably a 'B' for 3-speed on floor or an 'R' for rear seat speaker?
3K = 3rd option group, "K" is RPO-Z21 Style Trim Option.

Thanks guys for the info I only redo 69's so I don't have the books for 67's. I had always heard that you can tell everything from the cowl tags on them. I will check out the info too. I will call my buddy and tell him tonight. Thanks again...
