I searched all of the archives and have come to the conclusion that ALL of the 69 z/28's got the argent color grills (non RS's). My question is does anybody out there have a 69 Cortez Silver Z/28 (non-RS) with pictures that I could see. Somebody before me put the black grill in my (original color) Cortez Silver Z and I wanted to see what the Argent grill looked like. If I am wrong on my understanding of all Z's getting silver grills, except black, please tell me.

I am also trying to see a picture of a Cortez Silver Z/28 with the silver grille. If anybody has one please let me see it. All I have seen are Silver cars with black grills.

Yeah, I've been digging around trying to find one and it seems like there are a ton of silver Z/28's with black grills. If I find anything I'll post it.

Found a pic of one in my files. Sent it to you by e-mail. I think it looks pretty cool.

So far I am liking what I am seeing. As usual, it takes 1 ***hole at a local car cruise to say, that's the wrong grill. Meanwhile, he has this 69 Camaro painted up as a Baldwin Motion car, which it was not,....and he picks on my car. The putz had a 327..... Meanwhile, most of the stuff on my car is the way it is supposed to be, except for headers.

Do you guys get this BS too when you are out?

Indeed, all the experts are walking, we're driving. A few years ago, some guy comes over to my car while my 14 year old son was watching the car, and this dope proceeds to tell him it's not a real Z. Well, my son takes him over to the trim tag and gives him a dissertation on X-codes. The guy walked.......You are spot on. And yes, do a silver grill, it's does set you apart. Most of what I see is black, and it kills me why it can't be the correct color. To each his own....
