What kind of shift kit do i need.I rebuilt my unit with kevlar band and corvette servo.I want a very hard shift in all gears.

For a very hard shift in every gear all of the time just throw a B&M kit in. Just note that this gets old quick and is hard on the drivetrain. The best shift kit is the TransGo. Set it up using the stiffer springs in the accumulators, not blocking them. In this manner the more throttle the firmer the shifts become.

TransGo has a couple of different kits for the 700R4: the ReProgramming kit will allow 1st gear to be held to any speed. There is also two ways to set up the trans: full manual, or auto. In auto mode each gear is still able to be held to any speed. But will shift normally when placed in 3rd or OD.

The full manual is just that. Each gear needs to be selected. Pull out from a stop in while the shifter is in 3rd, and you'll pull out in 3rd gear (which also burns up the 3/4 clutch packs).

The Jr kit doesn't have the 1st gear hold, or the ability to do full manual. Still a nice kit.
