when i first bought the car i had you guys decode that tag for me,well i read it all wrong it was to nasty to read. after cleaning the firewall, i realised my mistake.
trim tag reads

st 68-12437 los 41827 body
tr712 z-z paint
vin reads 12378L343066
stamp on cowl reads 8L343066
the car has a single large fuel line
any help please

343066 = vehicle serial number sequence
Decode for body number: 041827
06E = Built the Fifth week of June.
68-12437 = Coupe.
LOS = Built in Van Nuys California.
712 = Standard Black Bucket Seats.
Z-Z = Car Color is British Green
E434 = internal plant scheduling code.

What the rest of the engine pad info? The 18L343066 is the partial VIN showing the Firewall and the VIN tag go together

the origenal motor is long gone, can anyone give me sometips on what to look for to find what motor or model of car this is. also on the fire wall where the heater is it looks like some one try patching the whole to make it smaller to put another heater box on any ideas, thanks for the reply
