HI guys, need help again. My 69 does not use the chrome drip rail moulding. X55. But between the metal drip rail on the roof line and the rail that is part of the moulding that comes up along the front windshield/post there should be a short 1" clip/moulding that connect the two pieces. What is it called and where can I get one. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I'm not sure which one you are talking about. There is a drip rail that is mounted under the weatherstrip retainer and provides a water path to go over the roof. I don't know how to explain it any better. Unless I misunderstood what you are looking for. Thanks for the comment. I am putting together a website so it will be easier to navigate and include thumbnails instead of full size pics. Maybe in the next month or 2 I can get it online.

The drip rail is made up of two pieces (I'm not talking about the driprail chrome) Anyway, the drip rail consists of a windshield piece, and a roof line piece. In a non-style trim car, where the two are joined, about 1" back of the elbow, there is a 3/4" wide or so clip that covers the joint. I'm almost positive both sides use the same one.
The sort of "L" shaped one which is part of the driprail chrome on style trim cars, is different for left and right sides.

That part that you are talking about is chromed and is not interchangeable front left to right. I know what you are talking about with the rail. There are 3 screws that hold that part in. I would have to see a pic of one to see what you are talking about. I am still cloudy on which one on a non-trim car looks like.
