I know this subject has been covered before but can not find it in the archives. I am looking for an 8.5 10 bolt rear end to put into my 68 camaro. Can someone tell me what cars they came in? I am going to be hitting the bone yards and need to know what I am looking for. Thanks

Actually, the Novas and variants did not start getting the 8.5 until sometime in 72. You need a 72 thru 74 Nova or variant for a direct bolt-in rearend.

My nova is a 71 and have the 8.2, so I'm looking for an 8.5 also!

True.... late '72 and on Nova's and their cousins will have 8.5" rears.
Direct bolt-in.
