On a 67', was it possible to get the stripe across the nose (fender to fender) if it was an SS car (no RS), or was that only on an RS version. I'm looking to lay some stripes down on my car one way or another but don't want it to be completely wrong. I have a basic camaro with the standard grill and like the stripe across the nose but if that wasn't an option I'm not going to do that, I'll do the stripes up the hood and on the trunk. Thanks if any of that makes sense.

The nose stripe (Bumblebee) was an SS only stripe until about March of 67, after which you could get it on any car. Hood and deck stripes have alway been part of the Z/28 package only, and not all the 602 67 Zs got stripes. The 67 Z stripes are different (no surrounding pin stripes). Unlike on Chevelles, where the hood and deck stripes were for the SS versions, hood and deck stripes on a first gen Camaro are only "correct" for a Z28.
