The good and the bad,,,

Good- Found an original drivers fender at a local swapmeet-Perfect condition..150.00 :D

The Bad- Broke off lower fender mounting bolt by drivers door ,drilled out and then broke off easy out in the hole!!!!

Any ideas how to get this sucker out????Someone said to just drill another hole alongside and tap that and use it instead... :clonk:

Thoughts?????

That was me, I think. Did that to the hood stop adjusment boltholes on the rad support.

I also have a broken bolt, drivers side fender near door, no easy out tho. I will run a drill and a tap thru that sucker, and hope it's rusted hard enuf to keep it there.

I broke my tap in that same hole. Then killed 2 drill bits trying to get it out. I ended up getting a threaded rod, putting it in the hole with shims to space the fender then a large washer and nut on the bottom. It's pretty half a$$ed but the only thing that worked.

If there is enough of the bolt shank exposed you can weld a nut to the shank. The heat from welding will also help to free a rusted bolt.
