I have a stupid question but it's better to ask than be sorry later. Which side of my flywheel (350 automatic) turns toward the torque converter?

It has the three holes where the torque converter bolts up, does the raised side mate with the converter? Or does the converter tabs fit into the three recessed areas on the other side of the flywheel? Thanks.

Raised side toward converter, recessed toward engine. Not a dumb question at all.
