What is best when painting your jams? I am going to use bc/cc on the car, should I use that on the jams or a singlr stage?
Thanks!

Personally, I would use the two stage in the jambs, ...just like your planning for the rest of the car.

I would use two stage also. The jambs should be identical to the painted car.

Quick point about jambing the doors and trunk area. The best result would be to remove the doors and trunk to allow your job to flow from area to area. If you choose to leave the doors and trunk on, paint the jambs first unless you plan on sealing the car. If you plan on sealing the hull you really need to remove the doors and trunk. If not then, spend the time to back tape the painted jambs and paint the outside and clear it. Then back tape the jambs off and clear them remove the tape, and burn the edges in with a product like SRA from sikkins, it will allow both cleared areas to mesh together and keep them from being a hard line problem. It's not hard to do the jambs either way but leaveing the doors on will burn up a ton of time. Quick tip to jambing and burning it in, use a bright LED flashlight to ensure you have the edges covered also use it to check the hull for coverage,(turn off the lights and use the LED to check it) the light will show you what your eyes will over look before you clear it. The SRA is a easy product to use it tends to fix it's self if sprayed to heavy. SRA is made by Sikkins basicaly it's a super hot Reducer used to blend in clear on a blend area. I like to clear then dump out the spray gun don't clean it, and add SRA it will mix with the small amout of clear in the cup and finish great. Hope this info helps. Remember try to blend on a scrap first to get the hang of it.
