I have not been able to find a GM right rear moulding by it's self, so I ordered a corvex moulding and it came today. It's not even close to a GM moulding to the point that I already sent it back. It is only about an inch wide opposed to maybe inch and a quarter for GM. It doesn't have holes in it... it has slots!!!! about a half inch long for each screw and would make it look very sloopy when installed. And I'm not sure if it's chromed or not but it looks like brushed aluminum. I definitely would NOT put it on my car with the other mouldings being original GM. Just wanted to let you know what they look like before the fact!!!! Now to go find an original GM one!!!!!!!

Those really aren't too good are they. I had bought a set a while back. Ricks took them back without questions (they knew too) and I paid the $$ for the GM mouldings.

I've seen a couple ads for the GM RR molding recently. I think one is here in the TC classifieds, and the other was maybe on eBay. Someone also said that they have them in one of the recent threads about them.

Thanks Hwystar.... I started the thread about wheel well moulding a few months ago. No luck with any of that. One guy mentioned stainless steel ones' but upon emailing got not reply where to buy them. The one in the TC classifieds was for sale for 150 dollars. I said no thanks... now it's sold... sucker born every minute I guess. So I will keep looking..... and thanks for the replys!!

gm-restorationparts.com has part numbers listed for all four locations and indicate that they will have stock in August 2005. These are listed as the OER GM parts.
Does this mean that somebody is finally going to make a 'real' replacement part????
Description for RH Rear moudling: "Correctly stamped for original fit & appearance, includes mounting screws."

Well Thanks Chuck. I will keep an eye on that part and see if and when they are available. It even lists it as the same part number so I am real curious!! Glad I didn't pay somebody a 150 dollars for one!!!! Thanks bunches!!!

Somebody in the prior post said that the LR fits the RR almost perfectly. I have since bought a set of 3 plus one more RR. When I paint my car I figure it is the best solution to get a whole set. But I haven't actually tried it....

69RAG327.... I looked into that also and then I tried to make my old left side fit the right. I bought the other three from GM and then couldn't fine the RR one. So I tried. First of all the lengths of the leading edge and trailing edge are different!! Then there is a different bend to each looking down at the wheel from above. Not to mention the different undulations of the piece the way the inner part is cut. In other words... I couldn't get the left side to fit the right side that would suit me. I would like to see these cars that had that done to them up close!!! I can wait till August!! Thanks for the replys!!!!
