Well folks, progress! I finally started getting things off the garage floor. In the last three weeks I've managed to blast and paint the trunk ,dash top and glove box door, repair a lifted area on the cowl area of the body, clear and install the gas tank, paint my kick panels and install my rear end. Today I installed the rear end and gas tank. I have a bet that I'll be finished before the fourth of July. One month ago, I didn't think it was possible. Today, I'm not so sure. Gotta go, I'm off to have a Margarita, no salt, no lime. Let the good times roll.

It's a good feeling to make progress. I got my new headers installed today on my 68 LT1 car. But I had a setback with the O2 mounts because I had them welded into the collectors and the passenger side doesn't have enough room between the header and transmission. So I'll have to put a plug in that one and have an O2 bung welded into a reducer so I can rotate it to position the sensor correctly.

I am feeling good also!! Got the engine set in the car, The new 2004r bolted up including the cooler lines, new radiator bolted in and even got the headers, carb and distributer in this weekend!! Now I need to spend some more money and get fuel tank and exhaust system! Shouldn't be too much longer and I may even be ready to fire it up!!

Keep up the good work!!
