: New job...at Chevy!!!
Steve W Apr 20th, 04, 05:14 AM As I posted before, I took a job at a Ford dealer. It was OK...but just OK. Then I got the call. The local Chevrolet dealer needed a manager right away, and was I still available?
So, after getting the Ford store set up, I made the move to Chevy. I am now the sales manager at Miracle Mile Chevrolet-Buick. New ownership, new management and a new attitude! I like it much better. Plan on staying here awhile. Looking for a great deal on a Chevy?

Steve W Apr 20th, 04, 08:16 PM Thanks guys.
We are in a state of rebuilding. Under the previous owner the store had a bad reputation. In fact, even GM didn't like it! The old regime ran the store into right the ground.
But the new owner is committed to making this store #1 in L.A. And I believe we will succeed.
We have all new owners, managers and staff. Parts and service have always been decent here. Its just the sales department that sucked.
Fresh inventories, fresh attitudes, and a real team atmosphere. And, we met with GM today, and they are impressed. So, we're off to a good start. I'm learning about the inventory everyday. I'll be up to speed soon. Just drove the SSR today. What a kick! And we are blowing out '04 'vettes, to get allotment points for the new '05. This is gonna be fun!
Everett#2390 Apr 21st, 04, 12:12 AM Congrats on the new challenge! Sounds like a good plan, now work the plan!
Good point you made about the inventory, the more you know, the better to serve the customer, new and repeat. I always hated going vehicle shopping when I knew more about the bells, whistles, and the total GCVW of the vehicle than the salesman.
As I said earlier, do we see a group buy on Camaro's?
Scoop69RS-SS Apr 21st, 04, 08:22 AM I'll sign up for one of those Kris Horton Camaros too!!!
He does have a very good eye.
...now if the planets would only align.
