While this could be a gold mine it sure doesn't look like it from the pictures. I don't see how anyone could bid without going out there and taking an inventory and seeing everything with their own eyes. I didn't see any in the few pictures that looked "completely restored". The collection sitting outside just makes things worse. I would love to hear from someone that actually went out and looked at this collection. Looks like he wants over $200K for it, personally I didn't see that much.

I agree with camaroman7d, looks like one car is restored. The rest seem to be marginal, rusting outside, project cars. I'll bet that only 1 car is restored and the other 13 are basically parts cars. A picture is worth 1000 words, but those pictures don't add to the "value" of the "collection."

Ummm Yeagh, riiiiight! "One mans life work for 35 years"....He must have been a slacker for the last 34 of 'em :D 250k for a bunch of mosaic Camaro's
Although here in America, people get 20 grand for a burnt piece of toast  My coupe MUST be worth 65k by now....

whoever this is he must not keep up on the camaro seen ,, the first big picture is of some kind of generic camaro and most of the other pictures are also , I saw some camaro's in the background of one pic , if he would highlight his camaro's and just leave those 70's one's in the backdrop maybe it would seem more worth looking at , it's like looking at a camaro catolog that go's past 69 you see some interesting part pictured and look close to see about it and boom read that it fit's 1971 camaro , make's you feel like pitching the whole book in the trash (WHICH IS WHAT I DO) it's not that me and the rest of the world don't realy care for gm's stuff made after 70 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,umm yes it is .

This is a weird one, because I think they are his cars, yet he's talking in third person in the auction. I checked some of the items he bought by clicking on his feedback, and I see he bought three of these cars (the 68 vert, 68 coupe, and a 73) as total basket cases in January and February, for a total of about $10K. There appear to have been 5 more bought in February, but the listings weren't active so I couldn't see what cars they were.

Here's the description for what I think is the 68 vert he has listed http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6161&item=4521252095.

Yow.

I drive through Paige at least once a month. If he is the place I can see from the highway while driving through, I would have to say, I thought it was a salvage yard. In fact, a couple months ago I stopped and called to see if I could look around for some parts. The person I talked with told me he only sold whole cars. That was enough for me since I am in the middle of rebuilding one and am not ready for a second total redo. I have been driving though Paige for many years and never noticed all the Camaro cars at this particular location except in the last couple years. Paige is a very small place, but he could have been off the highway before.

Send an email to the guy. If he says he is on Hwy 290 then I am talking about the same guy. He's right next to a place called the Hilltop Grill or something similar.
