I see that Jegs sells two kits that actually bolt on and replace all the rear lights to LED. 200.00 bucks for the kits. I think it would look pretty nice to have the modern look combined with old muscle. Anyone see those or considering making the switch?

We installed a set of LED bulbs/sockets in a friends 55 Chevy. IMHO, if the lense is not made for LED lights, when lit, they appear to be red dots. This is the case on a standard lense with LED's. On custom lenses, they may appear different. The 55, to me, just looked like a severe case of acne.

I bought two sets for my '68 rally sport. I think they're great. Good directions. Easy to install. I don't notice the dot pattern. The best part, and the reason I got them, is I no longer have to pop in a lightbulb which has fallen out of it's socket on a weekly basis.

I bought 3 sets for my 69 RS. I'm running Marquiz Designs rear lenses, I picked up a set of standard tailight housings so I could light up the whole backend without runining my stock RS housings. In the front I installed a set of Marquiz Designs front turn signals and it really looks good. The thing I like about the rear is it really lights up unless your blind you can see the brake, turn and running lights. I did have to install a electronic flasher though. I did get all 3 sets of LEDs from Jegs. It takes 2 sets to do both sides.
