I am using a Dart little M block that is a 406 pushing approx 450hp. I like the edelbrock aluminum water pumps - want mechanical - but I have some questions:
1. What is the difference between a long and short pump?
2. Which would you recomend for this build?
3. I have a Griffin Stock size radiator - which one will fit behind it?

All in a 69 camaro

The long and short pumps are completely the same internally in so far as pumping capacity etal. They are different obviosly from a mechanical sense.

Either will do for your build.....I use a long pump on my Camaro from TuffStuff. Nothing wrong with Edelbrocks either.
