Hello everyone, I had to install the oil pressure sender on the firewall because there was not enough room with the distributor. Now I have to ground the oil pressure sender. Any suggestions? Metal c-clamp? That wouldn't look very clean. Solder a connection to the sender and then run a wire from it to ground? I could remove the paint from the firewall where the sender is attached? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

What are you using for the pressure line? Most including myself have been able to mount it at the distributor with the help of some elbows, nipples, tees or whatever from a local hardware, Home Depot type place. I have the original idiot light sending unit as well as the large Autometer unit all right there together. It took a few trips to gather up the hardware but it works great.

I was able to solve that with the help of a 45° elbow and a 1/2" nipple. Thread size is 1/8 npt. I'm using the big sender, used on electrical Autometer gauges.

Thanks guys, I didn't even think of getting more/different fittings!! I'll be heading to Home Depot as soon as I take a couple measurements. I love this site!!
