Boy any more being on the highways wow either its the Seattle traffic jams or youre pushed down the Tacoma-olympia highways by semi-trucks and everyone else doing 70+(60 speedlimit) I feel sorry for really old people trying to drive on the highways (scary) ,im just trying to do the speed limit and the other day i had a semi truck guy flip me off because I was doing 65 (the limit is 60)i wasnt in the fast lane it really hurt my feelings (I should have drove my camaro -not my kia car)but i have never seen so many cops to, on the highways nowdays so thats why i stick with about 65 I love driving and want to keep a good driving record, what do you do when some one flips you off give it right back to them or smile and wave ?????I should of drove my camaro that day everyone respects ya and no one messes with ya !!!

Being in the right state of mind helps alot. If someone does this to me, I just say "Thank You" and wave back.
In the back of my mind, I think, someday, "The other driver will get his turn."
Keep the faith and stay out of the way. Be defensive, not offensive.

Well Camaro Lady, it's funny you should mention it...When I drive to work, it's heading towards Seattle. Coming home, it's out towards the sticks. The closer I get to Seattle, the worse the drivers seem to be. i.e. speeding, weaving all over to get 1 car length ahead, and rudeness!
I see all these folks in such a hurry and it seems like they're trying to find some 5th lane on I-5 that will magically open up and be totally clear or something. Don't take that guys gesture personally. I know you and you're not worthy of the "bad motor finger". As for me, it depends on what mood I'm in, but usually I don't go around flippin the bird back to them...it surely won't help anything at all ;) So Patti, here's a thumb for ya instead graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'm over here in Ellensburg quite often. When I travel over to the west side of the mountains, I'm always astounded how bad the drivers are. It's just insane. I can't stand driving on the freeways there.

Driving the speed of traffic is ALWAYS safer than driving slow even if your doing the speed limit.

Around here it's kinda the opposite when in the '69 all the lookie lou's want to hold a graemlins/thumbsup.gif conversation at 65mph. Then the suv'n soccer moms are trying to pass on the right and keep running into the slow lane traffic. By the time they find a hole they don't care if they climb over your front quarter and hood!! Then drive the '96 Z28SS and all the suv drivin soccer moms and the minivan driving males act like the road is a nascar track... graemlins/clonk.gif Drive the wife's 2000 impala or the '86 El Camino and everyone leaves you alone... graemlins/hurray.gif go figure!

I don't know...my nova seemed to get a lot of something the 1 day I got to drive it to town with the new 388. I had to make the mandatory sonic drive in run. You should have seen all the heads turning when I fired that thing up to leave. There is a wooden fence right behind the where you park that really amplifies your exhaust sound when it goes out the back of the car. To me, when driving it it sounds pretty quiet. But backed up to that wooden fence sure made it sound mega nasty. Heck, 2 kids a couple cars down got out of their ricer and came over and checked it out.
Of cource, it also got one of the local cops attention too. With the loose convertor in there, it revs up quite a bit when just driving it normally away from a stoplight. This cop stayed about a fender length back and man did the exhaust sound loud and nasty echoing off his car
