Value Explanations
Low Retail Value
This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is".

Note: This value does not represent a "parts car".
Average Retail Value
This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer".
High Retail Value
This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle *.
* "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concourse judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate-regulated facility. "

You have the Super Sport option added in twice. Once in the base search, and +30% for the option.

Wait till I tell the (Camaro hating, I want the money) wife the value of my "hot rod" has increased at three times the rate my 457 has (public employee version of a 401K). LB may still get his college education paid for.

Oops, my bad. Still $29K is a lot of coin for a 20 footer.

Great news!

Sadly, I am thinking of selling my 69 RS Convertable in April.
I just don't drive the car enough. I am sure my new born son would object though.

I better not let the wife see this thread. Even though my base model coup is still at the beginning of a restore, it still should bring between 6K to 8K as it sits.

The wife would have a For Sale sign on it in a heartbeat!

No doubt! I'm torn between taking the money for my basket case and buying a drivable Camaro (like I first intended to do 4 years ago!!) or finish it and sell it for 20 times what I have into it and buy The Mule.
;)

"Sittin' on a goldmine....."

Makes me wanna buy a couple more! Stevo, got a spare '67 taking up room?

Joe, I hear ya!!! I MIGHT have 7k into my 69 coupe (including purchase price). I've been offered 10k cash and it still needs paint and the interior finished off etc. :D
Next to real estate...you just can't beat a 1st gen for appreciation graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Hmm...veeeeeery interesting. I know where there is a cherry 1969 RS/SS 350, #'s matching, correct paint (Daytona Yellow with black stripes) car for $18k. Maybe I should buy this puppy now...

Wow!!! A lot of wife bashing on this site. My wife is the only reason I found my 69 Z10. She talked me in to buying it when I got cold feet. Maybe it's time for some of the "problem wives" to be traded for a nice Yenko or ZL1!
All joking aside, it is great to see the value of these cars continue to rise and it is sites like this that provide great info and great people.

You know, come to think of it, I bought her a 69 Chevelle SS after my Camaro. Maybe there was a reason she insisted we buy the Camaro??? graemlins/clonk.gif

Oh...did I mention my bodyman has already been all over it and it's all original rust-free panels except for the driver's fender? It also has factory air. Hmmm...man the wife is gonna kill me...
