I spent a good amount of time looking over the archives and did not really find the answer I'm looking for. Will Hooker Super Comps properly fit a 1968 Camaro, ZZ4 Crate engine, factory p/s, no a/c.
This site is excellent, Its amazing the amount of information I've been able to find.

68 the same as a 69....right?
BPOS has a fast burn 385 in his 69 and used the Hooker Super Comp headers with 1.75" primaries.
They fit, but the pass header hangs down alot.
Look him up here, he posts from time to time.

Yup - they fit around angle plugs and the PS box very well - but it's the driver's side that hangs down too low - I'd look elsewhere.

I've heard a lot about the Thorley's. Anyone using them on the '68 - part number 376Y1C?
Thanks guys

I also have a ZZ4 in my 69 and the D shaped exhaust ports makes it hard to find headers that fit and do not cover up some of the port area.I tried Super Comps and they hit my power steering box.I put my old Dynamax back on but they cover some of the ports and cause restriction.

my supercomp's fit great with straight pluts, except for the #5 cylinder plug, had to get a fiberglass sheath for it. My headers to hang low, but I don't plan on going off roading any time soon (unlike the previous owner :-\)
throleys are supposed to fit just about the best out of any header I've ever heard of, my supercomps hit the idler arm, but after about a month they dimpled themselves by banging against it, ticking noise went away.
