I have a '67 camaro with a '69 396. When I bought the car it had a really bad small block original radiator. Now I am replacing it with a brand new us radiator part #10906. It is too deep for me to use the original clutch fan. So I was wondering if using a stainless flex fan (w/o clutch) would work for my application-street use? I also would like to be able to use an original shroud with this set up. Thanks!!!

A quality flex fan like a Deral will work fine. I use my stock small block shroud on the 3 core radiator I have. You will need to have a good shroud of some sort to keep it cool.
