What a journey it has been. 3 years since it was shipped to Wayne Due, it has finally returned to its final home in the ATS shop here in Vegas. Now the real fun begins on finishing the final body kit fitment (the pre-production version is shown) and begin the hours of fabrication it will take to make it a car again. Many thanks to those who kept me going this whole time, I hope the final product lives up to its reputation. Enough words, how about some car porn.

Oh wow! That is really starting to get on it's way Tyler. Should handle like a dream with what you have for chassis/suspension. What size rear tire are you running? When do you think the project will be complete? Damn... that thing is going to to make the cover of every Chevy magazine out there when she's done tongue.gif Nice, nice, nice. Keep up the work and keep us updated!

look forward to seeing the finished pics! I forget, did you decide to turbo the engine, or are you sticking with natural aspiration?

Also, got any wind tunnel data on how the rear diffuser works?

Very - Very Nice graemlins/thumbsup.gif

And with "rides" on the Speedway at about say $10.oo a pop you should be able to recoupe some of your costs in no time - :D

WOW, that looks good! I can't wait to see the final result. I like the drawings that were made of 50/50, so if the car keeps these looks it can't go wrong!!

Well, you know... if I had the cash!

I thought that these bits were going into production for sale and thought perhaps some testing was done. I've been reading a bit about "full" under body diffusers and they seem to offer some huge downforce... but of course space is a bit limited. Just curious about any theory going into the diffuser and if there was any evidence backing it up.

Just inquisitive.

Canadian_Hot_Rodder- The rear tires will either be a 315/35/ZR/18 or a 345/35/ZR/18 on some HRE 542R rims. If I want to run the 345's, I'll need to do a 'wide body' modification to the rear 1/4 to make it look stock, but be 4 inches wider overall. I hope to have the car done for the 05 show curcuit (Goodguys, SEMA, Super Chevy ect..) but I can't promise anything. I hope I get at least 1 cover when its done.
Jeff- Yeah, 1 more bolt is one more toward it being done, but I'm going to assemble and dis assemble the car so many times I may lose count of how many bolts I've put on it.
John- I'm sticking with a twin turbo'd LS1 for motivation, and no, I cannot afford wind tunnel testing for any of these parts. It is a styling kit, and I make no claims that it will improve downforce.
I'm waiting for the day that is sits on all 4 wheels, and when it is rolling on the HRE's. That will be a milestone event.

Tyler, You pulled it off! graemlins/thumbsup.gif The car looks fantastic. If you remember, I was the one that was worried that your designs were a bit over the top. I'm happy to see that I was wrong. Nice Job! I especially like the notched rear spoiler and the rear 'vette lights.

Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

What color are you going to shoot it in?

John
