Hey guys,

I have been cleaning up the 40 years worth of hacked wiring my 67 coupe has and found a few stock wires I need to identify.

The one on the left I assume is whats left of the wiper switch and its plug. The one on the right am not sure about at all? Neutral saftey switch? The car "was" an automatic but when I got it the automatic was already gone (I am not even sure if it was a floor or column shift)

Thanks guys
Bill

Duh, looked at the assembly manual. Its the backup lamps right?? Where is the neutral saftey switch on a 67 auto? OK on to the next lead. On the plug that goes to the column harness I have a fried/cut lead.

It LOOKs like its one of the leads to the Hazards and I think I have found a corrosponding lead that is cut coming out of the fuse box. Its hard to tell if they are the same guage becuase the one on the plug is mangled. The color "looks" the same but alas I am color blind and trust me eyes NOT. Suggestions?

Thanks
Bill

At least it was only one side of the wires :)

I used the red 3m scotchbrite pad, cut a piece about 6" long and used it on the wires to rub off the grit and paint and crud. Works ok but wont get it shiney again either .
