Hi guys!
Heres the background.
I have an 87' camero 305 w/quadrajet that I bought used from a dealership in 92'.
A friend drove it for a while until I drove it to Colorado and bought a new GMC truck. I left it sitting in a barn until last summer when I towed it back to Las Vegas.
I don't know what the previous owner might have done to the car if anything.
Problem:
Car drives fine but when I try to open it up, it accelerates slowly like it may want more gas.
I have replaced the filter, pump and vacuum lines.
I hooked up my timing light, but no mark appeared while engine running.
I checked my Chilton book to see if I had to do anything else. It said to disconnect the 4 wire connector at the distributer. I did this but the engine would not run with it disconnected.
Please help. Very frustrating.
Thank you.
