I received this email the other day and want to know if anyone has seen this and if this is really true. What do you think?
We can buy gasoline that's not from the middle east. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling of every time I fill-up the gas tank, I am sending my money to people who want to kill me, my family and my friends. I thought it might be interesting to know which oil companies are the best to buy from and which major companies import middle eastern oil.
DON'T BUY GAS FROM THESE GAS STATIONS WHICH IMPORT FROM THE MID EAST:
Shell............205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco...144,332,000
Mobil/Exxon......130,082,000
Amoco............62,231,000
DO BUY GAS FROM THESE GAS STATIONS:
Citgo............0 barrels
Conoco...........0
BP/Phillips......0
Sinclair.........0
Sunoco...........0
Apparently, this information is available from the Department of Energy. Each company is required to report where they get their oil and how much they obtain.
