I have a 69 Z. The wipers are 2 speed and there truly is 2 speeds. My question is on high they are still not very fast. They come on, off and park correctly which makes me think a ground is not the problem. Any ideas, or is this normal?

What happens when you turn the wipers on? Anything on slow , or only on high? It may be the switch, that happened to me.

Check the sheet metal ground strap for the switch, behind the cluster - that's what makes the motor work (grounding the motor circuits through the switch body); the strap is shared with the headlight switch - grounds both of them with a screw through the sheet metal strap into the lower instrument panel reinforcement below the headlight switch. Bad switch ground, poor motor performance. Also check the brass ground strap at the top motor attachment to the firewall, which grounds the motor case. :thumbsup:
