OK Guys, I just wanted to post this to blow my own horn. Thanks to all of the help and information from this site, I finally have my suspension and brakes completed. Below is a list of the work I have done, so you guys can rip it apart, and tell me where I went wrong (just kidding). Other than blasting the subframe, and setting up the ring and pinion, I did all of the work myself. Let me know what you think.
Front:
Subframe disassembled and sand blasted, then coated with POR-15.
PST polygraphite bushings all around.
Moog tie rod ends and ball joints.
Hotchkis 2" drop springs, hollow sway bar, and tie rod sleeves.
Disc brake conversion from a 1972 Nova.
Power brake booster, and master cylinder, swap from a 1979 T/A.
Summit adjustable proportioning valve.
Power steering box from a late '80's Firebird with 16" wheels.
Global West solid body mount bushings.
Rear:
Hotchkis 1 1/2" drop multi-leafs, with their beefier shackles and U-bolts.
Nova 8.5" 10 bolt rear end swap.
Superior 3.42:1 Ring and Pinion (I will be running a 700R-4 tranny).
GM posi unit.
Yukon axles.
Disc brake conversion from a 1979 T/A.
Custom E-brake cables from Inline Tube.
General:
All new brake hard lines and hoses.
Monroe Sens-A-Trac shocks all around.
That's about it. I guess I will have to move on to the other forums now! FYI, I just got my wheels from the UPS man the other day, 16X8 Wheel Vintiques V48's, they look like the Minilites on Mark Donahue's Penske Camaro. Next its tires.
Thanks again for all the help and information. This site is great.
