i have been having problems with my circuit breaker tripping out so i checked to see how many amps it is pulling. it was only pulling a max of 27 amps. i took the circuit breaker apart and it was rusted and weak. i was at advance auto today and i noticed that they had circuit breakers almost exactly like the original. the case is different but the guts are the same. so i took them apart and switched the cases. now i have the original look but with a new breaker inside. i would buy a new one but they don't make them anymore.

if you're talking about the 30 amp breaker for power tops and windows, that is some excellent info! Pretty sure several guys were looking for power top relays (edit, make that circuit breakers) recently.

Does Camaro use GM part 4850166 (a 30a breaker that mounts on the firewall) ? I just bought a spare for my '68 Firebird at Performance Years (my favorite parts vendor) for $17.

PY is at: http://performanceyears.com/newsite/index.html and their part number is GFI67

Don't know if that's what your looking for or not.
