I was having a problem with my 68 camaro the multi springs seem to jack the car up quite a bit the car used to be a drag car.I was trying to install the shocks but the will not reach does anyone know how many springs are supposed to be in the multi leafs?

i just replaced my springs they are 5 leaf replacements.do you have a mono or multileaf setup? i think there is a difference in shock length from mono to multi.

mono and multi are the same lengths....if they're too high just take them to a spring shop and have them dearched however much you want them....multis are normally 5 leaf and there is also a 3 leaf....did you let all the weight down before you tightened the shackle nuts???

In adition, Z-28 packs consisted of 4 leafs.

When I converted from mono to multi leaf, I bought the multi-leaf shocks but still had to add the 2" spacers on top of the shocks to fit my 68.

classic industries has shock extenders for multi leaf conversions.
part # RL6 for fine thread & RL6A for course thread.

was reading thru catalog last night & ran across those.
