How many 67 396/325hp 4-speed, 12-bolt RS/SS convertables were produced?
I am curious as I am helping a friend with the restoration of one.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris:
I don't think we'll ever know for sure - but, accourding to CRG ( www.camaros.org ) there were;
A total of 162,098 1967 Camaro V-8's built - 19,856 of which were Convertibles ( but, some went overseas or North-of-the-Border...) - so @ 12 % were Convertibles.
A total of 4003 of those were 'L-35' 396/325 V-8's or @ 2.5% of the V-8's total.
And less than half of those, @ 43% were 4-speeds.
The percentage of RS/SS trim options would just serve to lower the percentages of this car even lower.
So you can fiqure not to many 396/325 4-speed RS/SS Convertibles were made - and probably relatively few have survived.
A pretty rare car in my book :thumbsup:

Thank you John.
I am still shaking my head on this Camaro find. I just can not believe it sat in a shed for 33 years not more than 7 miles from my house
(I had posted in restorations earlier).
Wish it were mine.
