my 67 was converted to multi-leaf by previous owner, but there are still traction bars. i recently received matching front coils and rear leafs springs from global west to lower by ~1 inch and allow removal of traction bars. what do i need to buy in order to keep from having to reuse traction bars? my front u-bolts are long and bolt into traction bar.

You'll have to locate a pair of spring perches.. check your local pick a part or salvage yard for a 67-74 nova and get the perches from it.

why spring perches out of a nova? i assume i'll need new u bolts too? looks like these are longer since they attach at such a low angle to the traction bars.

take a ride accross the river and stop by my house, i have a set of original shock mounting plates For a 67' that you can buy.

You need 67 specific becuase in 68, 69 camaros and 68-72 novas they staggered the shocks.

They're $90 for the pair in Rick's.....i'm asking $45.

I'm in Hamilton SQ Nj
