I bought a used aluminum intake and it has a fitting for a bypass hose to the water pump that I don't need. It is right in the way of where my alternator bracket goes. It is round so there is nothing to put a wrench on. I tried vise grips but it won't budge. Somebody didn't put antisize on the threads. Any ideas how to get it out? Thanks, John

We use a small pipe wrench at the shop. Usually gets them out pretty easy.

Another solution is to cut off the fitting, tap the inside of it and put a pipe plug in it.

As ALF says, " There's more than one way to skin a cat." :D

Soak it with penatrating oil first.

PB Blaster or Kano Kroil will help, then use the "big red wrench" if need be.
